PROVIDENCE, R.I. – As the American Athletic Conference men's soccer preseason polls rolled out, senior forward Joonas Jokinen was named to the All-Conference team. Jokinen finished the 2016 season with three goals, six assists, and 12 total points in 12 starts.
As a team, Temple men's soccer ranked sixth in the preseason Coaches' Poll garnering 20 points. UConn, who is ranked 24 in the United Soccer Coaches national preseason rankings, sits at No. 1 after receiving four first-place votes and 45 total points. Tulsa placed second with 43 points and USF followed in third.
