Comeback Attempt Falls Short at the Buzzer for Men's Basketball Against GW

PHILADELPHIA - A furious comeback attempt fell just short at the buzzer as Temple men's basketball had its five-game win streak snapped in a 66-63 loss to visiting George Washington (6-4) on Wednesday night at the Liacouras Center. The Owls (6-3) were down by 15 before tying the game with 38 seconds left, but a final three-point attempt bounced off the rim as time expired.

Senior Daniel Dingle scored a team-high 14 points, making 4-of-8 three pointers before barely missing his ninth attempt at the end of the game. Dingle hit the third and fourth of those treys to give the game its first tie of the second half with a minute and a half remaining.
