Slanina and Iloka have both been banged up recently, but Patterson suggests they could both be back on the field for Saturday’s matchup against Oklahoma.
Slanina started the first two games but did not play against SMU. He has nine catches for 87 yards this season. Iloka, a starter last season before missing the final 11 games because of a knee injury, has played primarily on special teams this season.
The Frogs will need to focus on stopping Baker Mayfield, who hates them, and you, and me, and all the puppies in the world.
“He’s a strong guy who can move really well and throw it, too,” defensive end Josh Carraway said.
