TCU Football had a huge weekend, bringing in several top class of ‘17 targets for the final official visit slot before National Signing Day. While they continue to wait on the pledge of some of the bigger names out there, they did score with two somewhat under the radar prospects that could pay big dividends down the road.
Two three star seniors, athlete Ni’jeel Meeking out of Louisiana and safety Kerry Johnson out of Houston, both offered their verbal pledge Sunday morning after spending time on campus over the weekend.
Meeking is an interesting player - listed at 6’3” and 202 pounds, he played wide receiver, safety, and corner at Union Parish in Farmerville and could see time on either side of the ball at TCU as well.
