Kenny Hill, TCU's offense searching for the swagger that put the former transfer on the map

FORT WORTH --Kenny Hill once carried as much confidence as any quarterback in college football.

He nicknamed himself 'Trill' after his first career start, dubbing himself the combination of being true and real after he threw for a school-record 511 yards in Texas A&M's 2014 season opener.

Three years later and now at TCU, that persona no longer exists. As the redshirt senior enters his second season with the Horned Frogs, coach Gary Patterson doesn't need to see the same version of Hill that played at A&M.

But the longtime TCU coach said the former Southlake Carroll quarterback needs to show a bit more self-confidence for the Horned Frogs and Hill to be successful in 2017.
