How TCU's Alex Robinson found his way home – and at the center of another Jamie Dixon miracle

FORT WORTH -- When Alex Robinson first arrived at TCU's campus, the Fort Worth native hardly had an idea of what his legacy would ultimately be at the institution he grew up around.

At Texas A&M, where the Mansfield Timberview product spent his freshman year during the 2014-15 season, he earned 601 minutes of playing time and scored 165 points on an Aggies team that went 21-12 before ultimately losing in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament.

Some 175 miles north of College Station, making the NIT may have just as well been as plausible as the Final Four for a Horned Frogs team that had won a combined six conference in three seasons as a member of the Big 12 Conference.
