Whether or not he knows more than he's letting on, TCU coach Gary Patterson isn't providing many clues as to what exactly spurred true freshman starting linebacker Mike Freeze to leave the team after the Horned Frogs' opening game.
Freeze won the starting job in the spring, played in the season-opening win at Minnesota and then stunned everybody by taking an indefinite leave of absence. At the time, Patterson said all he knew was Freeze was leaving for personal reasons.
