Two games is not a lot to go on. And yet, sometimes, in that brief period, a player can make quite the impression. Tobias Myers, who the Tampa Bay Rays acquired for Tim Beckham, is managing to do just that.
In his two outings since coming over to the Rays, Myers has been dominant. Over his first 10.2 innings with the Hudson Valley Renegades, he has allowed just three runs on three hits. As impressive as that hit total is, Myers also has not walked a batter during his time in the Rays organization. Myers has also struck out an incredible 17 batters, nearly half of the 36 batters he has faced.
