Rays stymied by Indians pitcher in 4-1 loss

ST. PETERSBURG -- There is something about pitching inside Tropicana Field that appeals to Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco.

The right-hander entered Wednesday’s game against the Rays as a .500 pitcher vs. the American League East. But under the Rays roof he is Cy Young material.

You may remember it was Carrasco who came within a two-out, ninth inning single by Joey Butler last season from throwing a no-hitter at the Trop.

He had no-hit stuff again Wednesday, though that drama was erased by a fourth inning single by Logan Morrison, who recorded just his second hit of the season.
