Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier and pitcher Jake Odorizzi will serve as grand marshals in the Sant’ Yago Knight Parade in Ybor City on Saturday.
The Rays will be joined by Big Brothers Big Sisters in the parade through Tampa’s historic district.
Since the early 1970s, The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago has organized and hosted the Knight Parade, an annual celebration of Tampa civic pride. Each year, the parade helps to raise funds for the Krewe of Knights of Sant’ Yago Education Foundation, which has provided more than $2 million in scholarships to local students.
