TAMPA — Imagine a smart phone app that senses when you’re close to the ballpark or football stadium turnstile and brings up your admission ticket on the screen.

The screen changes once you enter, detailing what concessions are close by and which has the shortest line. Once in your seat, you can use your phone to vote for what song or video should be played on the public address or even share a video that could be shown on the stadium video screen.

Technology is quickly changing the game day experience for sports fans as professional sports teams look to attract a new generation of fans not content as passive spectators.
