BALTIMORE – Left-hander Matt Moore will return to the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday as part of the first wave of September call-ups from Durham.
OF Mikie Mahtook, INF Richie Shaffer, LHP C.J. Riefenhauser, RHP Kirby Yates and C Luke Maile will also join the team.
Maile will be added to the 40-man roster today with a corresponding more to be announced before the game.
Moore is 3-1 with a 3.30 ERA in five starts since being optioned to Durham on Aug. 3 to work on some issues that developed after he returned from Tommy John surgery.
