Bullpen, bats disappoint again as Rays lose to Baltimore

BALTIMORE -- The Tampa Bay Rays once shutdown bullpen continues to leak.

J.J. Hardy’s single to left field drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth Friday as the Balrimore Orioles rallied for a 2-1 victory at Camden Yards.

The loss dropped the Rays to a game under .500 and extended their losing streak to a season-high six.

Both of the Orioles runs came against the Rays bullpen, which has allowed runs in second straight balls games.

The Rays loaded the bases with no outs in the ninth against Darren O’Day. Evan Longoria and David DeJesus singled and Logan Forsythe was struck by a pitch.
