Twelve Tampa Bay Lightning Players In World Cup Of Hockey

On Friday, the eight teams in the World Cup announced their final rosters and the Tampa Bay Lightning will be well represented once September 17 rolls around.

Among the many players selected, twelve from the Lightning find themselves on one of the eight rosters. It should be an exciting tournament showcasing some of the top talent in the world.

Among the 23 players selected for Team U.S.A.’s roster is goaltender Ben Bishop, who had an MVP-like season and led the league in overall goals against average (GAA) with a 2.06 GAA. He will definitely boost the chances for the U.
