Tampa Bay Lightning, Vladislav Namestnikov agree to 2-year deal

The Tampa Bay Lightning and forward Vladislav Namestnikov have agreed to a two-year contract worth $1.9375 million per season, according to an NHL source.

Namestnikov, 23, was a restricted free agent, and the two sides had an arbitration hearing scheduled for Friday.

Drafted by the Lightning with the 27th overall pick in 2011, Namestnikov has spent the past three seasons in Tampa Bay, and his ice time and contributions have increased each season. He recorded 14 goals and 21 assists in 80 games in 2015-16.

Overall, he has 23 goals and 28 assists for his career.
