TAMPA - Somewhere back home in Switzerland Joel Vermin houses all his hockey memorabilia in a dedicated area.
He can add another to the collection after the 23-year-old rookie picked up his first career NHL point during Tampa Bay’s victory against Anaheim.
Vermin picked up the secondary assist on the eventual game-winning goal after he picked up a rebound of his pass attempt, circled around the back of the net and found Andrej Sustr in the right circle. Sustr would get a pass over to Nikita Kucherov at the top of the crease for the opening goal in a 5-0 victory.
