Bolts break losing skid with OT victory over Nashville

TAMPA - One bad week.

It’s the one thing the Tampa Bay needed to avoid.

One bad week is all it takes to wipe out one good month.

This week, the Lightning have been bad.

Fortunately, they were rescued from a disastrous result on Friday as Tyler Johnson scored the winning goal 1:04 into overtime for a 4-3 victory against Nashville.

Steven Stamkos tied the game in the third with a one-timer for his 22nd goal of the season on the power play with 26.6 seconds left.

Coming off a rough two-game road trip in which Tampa Bay looked out of synch and out of sorts defensively, the Lightning looked the same in returning home to start an important four-game homestand.
