TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Alice Buzzetto as the 36th Lightning Community Hero of the 2015-16 season during the first period of tonight’s game versus the Detroit Red Wings. Buzzetto, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, will donate the money to Dress for Success and Van Dyke United Methodist Church.
Tonight’s community hero has played a pivotal role in aiding families that have been dealing with grief in their lives. Buzzetto is a facilitator at a GriefShare program that gives support to those who have lost a family member or friend.
