It's time for Bucs to win back this town

TAMPA — Da’Quan Bowers is back.

Let the “Siege” begin.

It will be impossible (even if we try, hard) to miss the Bucs’ pithy new “Siege The Day” marketing campaign as training camp and the Age of Jameis commences. Can’t blame a franchise for trying.

Reported rejected Bucs marketing ideas:

“Batten Down The Crab Legs!”

“Fourteen Losses On A Dead Man’s Chest.”

“Arrr — It Was All Tedford’s Fault.”

Throw in that “Cannons will fire” billboard featuring the No. 1 overall pick’s touchdown arm at the ready.

The Siege deal might work best.
