The Buccaneers made an interesting move following the 2015 season. Relieving Mike Smith of his duties after last season did create some questions. The Bucs did improve by four games in 2015. Not only that, but at 6-6, they were in the heat of the playoff race. It fell apart in the final four weeks, but one could argue that Lovie did have them on the right track.
However, Licht made the move, firing Smith and promoting offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter into the head coach position. In spite of all the questions, the move is the right one for Tampa Bay.
