Former Syracuse University lacrosse star Ryan Powell admits the art of brewing beer is "a little over my head."
"A brewer explaining the technical side of making beer to me would be like me discussing with him how to string a lacrosse stick," Powell said.
But Powell is a driving force behind what may be the first ever lacrosse-themed beer. It's called Lacrosse Stick Lager. Powell is producing it in partnership with Widmer Brothers Brewery of Portland, Ore., where he lived for nine years.
