Syracuse's non-conference schedule was released on Monday, including a Big Ten/ACC Challenge matchup against one of the national semifinalists from a year ago.
The Syracuse women's basketball team will play a 13-game non-conference schedule that includes three opponents who finished last season ranked in the top ten.
The Orange faces Maryland, ranked fourth in the postseason poll, as well as Tennessee (sixth) and Arizona State (eighth). The Terrapins reached the Final Four in 2015, losing to eventual champion UConn.
"This non-conference schedule provides us with tough contests against top teams from major conferences," head coach Quentin Hillsman said in a release.
