On the No Huddle Tour, Syracuse Orange football coach Dino Babers mentioned that Corey Winfield and Chauncey Scissum would both be ready for camp -- encouraging news considering the stabbing incident that landed the two defensive backs in the hospital so recently.
Yesterday, a tweet from Scissum seemed to reinforce the notion that he's well on his way to full health again:
That's huge news considering the original extent of his injuries had him in critical but stable condition just over a month ago.
As we've mentioned numerous times here, SU's secondary was a major weakness during the 2015 campaign, and if the defense is going to improve this fall, they'll need big leaps forward from everyone, including Scissum and Winfield.
