Syracuse, N.Y. -- Nate Roberts, who has said he will announce his college basketball destination on Tuesday, spent Friday night in the Carrier Dome watching the Orange take down No. 2 Clemson in a wildly celebrated college football win.
Roberts was there with Buddy Boeheim, his Brewster Academy teammate. A few SU fans spotted them and Jason Smith, the Brewster coach, confirmed the pair was at the game.
"Yes, that's accurate," he wrote today in a text message. "We are on our Fall Break."
The Orange, as pretty much everybody in Syracuse knows today, staged an upset that made national headlines and prompted Syracuse fans to stream onto the football field to celebrate with the team.
