While Syracuse basketball squad nears the end of its 2018-19 regular season, it’s also keeping an eye to next year’s recruiting class. Per a report from CuseNation.com, which cited a source, the Orange has offered a scholarship to 2019 center Jesse Edwards.
The 6-foot-11 Edwards, according to the article, currently suits up for the post-grad team at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and he is originally from the Netherlands.
I looked around a bunch online, and I’m not seeing a whole lot so far on this prospect. Edwards doesn’t appear to have any rankings from the primary recruiting Web sites, and that’s likely because he came to the United States only several months ago, says CuseNation.
