Syracuse Basketball: John Gillon can extend SU legacy (Boeheim’s Army)

Former Syracuse basketball guard John Gillon will once again be a part of Boeheim’s Army in the TBT. It will be Gillon’s third year on the Boeheim’s Army roster, and he has been a very important player in the past two tournaments.

The other players who have been confirmed by the team include:

Gillon, who only played one full year in Orange after transferring from Colorado State, averaged 10.5 points per game and over 5 assists for the Cuse, according to sports-reference.com.

While those stats were certainly good, he will most be remembered for a buzzer-beater to take down Duke at the Carrier Dome – a win that SHOULD HAVE been enough to put Syracuse into the NCAA Tournament, but we’ll save that for another day.
