It was somewhat surprising to not hear Andrew White’s name called on Thursday night for the 2017 NBA Draft. It’s not surprising to hear that he’s found a new home.
White has agreed to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He will participate for the Cavs in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League, according to his agent Adie Von Gontard.
Outside of the Golden State Warriors, White couldn’t have landed in a better spot. White should make the team as an outside scoring threat and add some punch to the Cavaliers’ bench.
But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, lets see how White does in the Las Vegas Summer League.
