SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse football is back.

The Orange kicked off the fourth year of the Dino Babers era with their first spring practice of 2019 Sunday morning inside the Ensley Athletic Center. Players wore helmets, jerseys and shorts for the two-hour workout, which featured individual drills, 7-on-7 action, team periods and light special teams work.

Fresh off the seventh double-digit win season in program history, Babers and the Orange had a noticeable pep in their step throughout practice. Syracuse went 10-3 overall and finished ranked No. 15 in the country one season ago, capping off the year with a victory over West Virginia in the Camping World Bowl.
