Back in October before he announced he would be joining the Syracuse basketball program, there was some uncertainty surrounding 2019 recruit Joe Girard III and whether or not he pick the Orange. Girard had offers from a number of top schools around the country including Boston College, Duke, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Penn State.
But the kid from Glens Falls, NY opted to stay closer to home for his college basketball career and selected Syracuse as the school he would be attending in 2019.
Since making his decision, Girard has been playing out of his mind during his senior season at Glens Falls Senior High School.
