Hillsman and the university made good on that promise on Friday. The women's basketball coach has agreed to a contract extension, a spokesman with SU Athletics confirmed. The terms of the agreement were not made public.
Hillsman went 22-10 in his ninth-season at Syracuse, even though he didn't have Brittney Sykes healthy for most of the year.
