Sunderland AFC are considering legal action against a far-right US commentator who is bizarrely using their stadium as his background for YouTube videos, in which he rants about 'gays and Jews'.
Dave Daubenmire, a far-right Christian who goes by the name 'Coach Dave', uses the Stadium of Light as his backdrop and has developed an online following on the fringes of ultra-conservative politics with his unhinged rants on YouTube.
The extreme internet personality, who has referred to LGBTQ pride events as 'h**o shame parades' and pedalled anti-Semitic myths about Jews, has been using an image of Sunderland's home ground in his videos since June 6.
