MBB: Hervey Earns All-America Recognition
Arlington Native Becomes The Second Mav To Receive AP All-America Recognition.
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Junior Kevin Hervey became the second UTA men’s basketball player to earn All-America recognition Tuesday when he was named an honorable mention selection by the Associated Press.
Hervey, the Sun Belt Player of the Year, is the only player from the Sun Belt Conference and one of just four players from programs in the state of Texas to earn recognition from the Associated Press. The Arlington native also earned all-district honors by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the United State Basketball Writers of America.
