Five-Run First Inning Lifts Georgia Tech over Eagles
STATESBORO, GA. - Georgia Southern Baseball came out on the short end of a 10-3 line on Tuesday night against No. 17 Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets got five runs in the first inning and didn't look back in their annual non-conference trip to J.I. Clements Stadium. The Eagles out-hit Georgia Tech 14-13 on the night as they prepare for this weekend's three-game series against Georgia in Statesboro.

Georgia Tech got five runs, four earned off Georgia southern starting pitcher Zach Strickland in the first inning to take a commanding lead.
