Chase Holbrook, the former Aggie standout from Hurst, Texas, is heading back to Las Cruces for the 2017-18 season! This time, however, Chase will be serving a much different role for the Aggies than when he last played quarterback in 2008.
That’s because Holbrook was hired by Doug Martin this past week to be the tight ends coach for the Aggies. This comes after the former tight ends coach, Kevin McKeethan, departed to join Zane Vance at Charleston Southern. Holbrook is now the second former quarterback to be hired to Martin’s staff, as Matt Christian already coaches the running backs.
