LaLiga new boys Girona are hoping to land Stoke defender Marc Muniesa.
The 25-year-old has struggled to establish himself at Stoke since arriving from Barcelona in 2013.
He has started a combined total of just 40 Premier League games over the past four seasons and he could be set to leave this summer.
Now, according to AS, promoted Girona have been keeping close tabs on his situation and are ready to make their move.
The club, who finished runners-up in Spain's second division last term, want to add to their squad as they attempt to hold their own in LaLiga.
