Swansea 2-0 Stoke: Fernando Llorente and Tom Carroll give Paul Clement's side victory but it is not enough to claw them out of the relegation zone

Swansea were unable to claw their way out of the relegation zone on Saturday despite a vital victory over Stoke, who missed a second-half penalty through Marko Arnautovic.

Hull's win over Watford kept the Swans in the bottom three, and two points adrift of safety.

Fernando Llorente's header in the 10th minute gave the home side an early lead, which was wrapped up in the second half by Tom Carroll - exactly 60 seconds after Stoke's penalty miss.
