Stoke boss Mark Hughes has sympathy for frustrated Peter Crouch, but insists striker is NOT up for sale in January

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes accepts Peter Crouch is frustrated at his lack of game time, but says he is prepared to sell the striker in January.

The former England forward has started just two games for Stoke this season and none since August.

Well-loved for his humour, Crouch teased his frustration at his bit-part Potters role with a recent post on Twitter, quipping in response to a fan:#

Hughes admits he is well aware of the striker’s predicament but insists the former Liverpool and Tottenham frontman has a role to play for Stoke this season.
