Former Barcelona whizzkid Bojan Krkic will be given a chance to revive his Premier League career with Stoke next season after impressing on loan for German club Mainz.
It had been anticipated that 26-year-old Bojan would depart Stoke for good after being sent out to play in the Bundesliga in January.
But manager Mark Hughes has had a rethink after receiving positive reports of the Spaniard’s form and injuries to Stephen Ireland and Ibrahim Afellay that have left him short of creative No10s.
The skilful Bojan was regarded as a superstar-in-waiting when he made Barcelona’ s first-team at 17 and his move to the Potteries created great excitement when he arrived in 2014.
