UPSET: Stanford Knocks Off No. 6 USC

For the first time this season, an unranked team upset a Top 10 team.

The Stanford Cardinal knocked off the USC Trojans 41-31. Neither team committed a turnover, but Stanford dominated time of possession. The Cardinal had the ball for roughly twice as long as the Trojans did.

The Cardinal ran the ball 48 times, picking up 196 yards and three TDs.

Quarterback Kevin Hogan played well, completing 18 of 23 passes for 279 yards and two scores.

QB Cody Kessler was the bright spot in the Trojans' loss, completing 25 of 32 passes for 3 TDs and no picks.

The loss drops USC to 2-1 and likely out of the Top 10. Stanford improves to 2-1.
