Herenton is a 6-foot-1 guard from Chicago, Illinois. He joins the Stanford Cardinal basketball team as a walk-on. Herenton turned down a scholarship offer to play basketball at Dartmouth in favor of life in Palo Alto.
Herenton won the Chicago City Championship in 2013 and the 4A Illinois State Championship has a Junior at Whitney Young High School before playing at Stevenson as a Senior.
