EARTH CITY, Mo. -- St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey could be home in time for Christmas.
Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Wednesday that Bailey is continuing to make progress in his recovery from the shooting he was a victim of on Nov. 24 in the Miami area. Bailey was shot in the head twice in the incident and underwent an extensive surgery the day after.
But Fisher also revealed that Bailey is hoping to be released from the recovery center at the hospital he's at sooner than later.
“He’s progressing," Fisher said.
