Following nearly every STL Cardinals win (particularly ones with more perceived importance), I immediately head to the ol’ Twitter machine and search for “Hate Cardinals”. While some may find this behavior strange, I do it purely for comedic relief. I also understand, in the world of competitive sports, hatred and success go hand-in-hand.
Of course, I would prefer to be solely respected, and, for the most part, I believe the majority of level-headed opposing fans DO have tremendous respect for the Cardinals organization.
