Records are to be broken, and John Ulett may have done so.
When "The U-Man" signed on Wednesday morning to spin classic rock at KSHE-95, it was the 40th anniversary of Ulett becoming a jock at the station.
And that might be a record for the number of consecutive years that a music jock has worked on-air at the same station.
Ulett also has been the St. Louis Cardinals' public-address announcer for 33 years.
"It's simply unbelievable what John's done, but it couldn't happen to a better guy," fellow rock jock Mark Klose said.
