Holland can't hold lead, Cardinals fall to Phillies 7-6

The Phillies got three runs because of throwing errors by fill-in shortstop Jedd Gyorko. His off-line throw on a ground ball by Rhys Hopkins in the first put in position to score on a single by Carlos Santana. In the fifth, it looked like reliever Brett Cecil would get out of a bases-loaded one-out jam he inherited when Odubel Herrera hit a potential double play ground ball to second. Kolten Wong threw to Gyorko at second for the force, but Gyorko's throw to first got past Jose Martinez and two runs scored.

Holland came in to pitch the eighth but gave up two runs, upping his ERA to 7.
