ST. LOUIS -- After placing Dexter Fowler (right heel spur) and Kevin Siegrist (cervical spine sprain) on the 10-day disabled list Sunday, the Cardinals scheduled medical studies for both players in order to determine the severity of their chronic injuries. Fowler will visit a podiatrist on Monday. Siegrist left Busch Stadium on Sunday afternoon for his appointment.
Fowler has said he's dealt with heel discomfort "off and on forever," and he aggravated the injury chasing after a ball in Saturday's loss. After the game, he told the Cardinals, "I don't have a leg to stand on.
