To error is human, to mess with a productive lineup might be considered just plain nuts.
Cardinals manger Mike Matheny is human, but he's not nuts. The skipper will come eight back with nearly the same batting order that pounded out 15 hits and 11 runs to beat the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night.
The only change for Wednesday will be at the leadoff spot, where Peter Bourjos replaces Jon Jay in center field and in the No. 1 slot.
Matt Carpenter, who has been the team's regular leadoff man for some two years, was dropped to the second in the order on Tuesday's 11-5 victory and it worked like a charm.
