3/8/21: Signed OF Jackie Bradley, Jr. to a 2-year, $24 million contract. Placed UT Tim Lopes on the 60-day IL (right oblique strain). 40-man roster still full.
Bradley, who will turn 31 in April, was originally drafted out of the University of South Carolina in the supplemental first round of the 2011 draft by the Red Sox with a pick that the club obtained because it lost Adrian Beltre to the Rangers in free agency. He remained in the organization until now, and made his major league debut on opening day of the 2013 season.
