MILWAUKEE • Former Milwaukee Brewer Mark Reynolds failed with runners in scoring position in his first two at-bats on Sunday. But, leading off the fifth inning, Reynolds was not denied. He blasted a 451-foot homer to deep left center and the Cardinals cut Milwaukee's lead to one run at 3-2.

Ever so briefly.

After the first homer of the season by Reynolds, who was playing left field for the Cardinals, Milwaukee starter Mike Fiers was yanked for former Cardinal Michael Blazek.
