Piscotty in left field against Rockies

With Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday moving to the 15-day disabled list after re-injuring his quad Wednesday night, rookie Stephen Piscotty will fill in the 35-year-old veteran's shoes in left field for Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies.

Holliday (quad strain) left Wednesday's game in the bottom of the first inning while running to first base and trying to beat out a double play.

Piscotty, who was called up during last week's series against the White Sox, has been on base in every game he's appeared in so far. He had started seeing some time at first base, but he was moved back to the outfield last night after Holliday's absence.
