One day after hitting in the No. 2 spot for the first time in his major league career, Cardinals rookie Stephen Piscotty is back to hitting eighth for Saturday's game against Colorado.
Piscotty, who has a hit in each of his eight starts since being called up almost two weeks ago, recorded an RBI double in Friday night's contest against the Rockies. It jump-started a five-run inning.
Randal Grichuk, who hit eighth Friday, will move back up to No. 2 in the order, where he hit two days earlier. Matt Carpenter will bat leadoff again, a place where he has seen considerable recent success.
